The holiday may extend to Wednesday, April 2, if the holiday falls on a Monday
On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, it has been decided to suspend work in all banks operating in Egypt, starting from Sunday, March 30, 2025, until Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Work will resume on the morning of Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Note that if the legal sighting of the Shawwal 1446 AH crescent moon indicates that Monday, March 31, 2025, is the first day of Shawwal 1446 AH, the aforementioned holiday will extend until Wednesday, April 2, 2025, and work will resume on the morning of Thursday, April 3, 2025.
